Gaff Color Matching

Friday, April 3rd, 2009

There has been some frustration out there in respect to correctly matching the colors of your gaff prints to actual playing cards. To help ease this process, we have created a printable color matching template that you can use to match the red or blue of a playing card to its proper html color code for your printer. Simply download the zip below, open the enclosed html file and print. You can then use the template to match the proper html color code that YOUR printer prints to a playing cards color. Most graphic editing programs will allow you to select your color based off of these html color codes, Please visit the forums if you require assistance with this. For those who may be interested, I have also included the php script which I used to generate the html chart. Please report your results to the forums so that we may improve this chart and narrow down common color matches. Also feel free to ask any questions you may have regarding its use to the forum thread as well.
