Effect: The deck is cut in two, the spectator takes one half, the magician takes the other. Each choose a card, place them each in their respective packets, the packets are joined, cut and the two cards have magically paired inside the deck.

Effect: An brilliant top palm technique that can be done invisibly to the spectator. (took me quite some time to understand what the author was describing but I think I get it now, well worth the time. )

Effect: A nice way of confusingly double cutting a card to the top when seeing the selected card is not a factor as the deck is upsidedown in this one.

Effect: A clever method the to classic, you select card, shuffle deck, spread, I STAB! only problem with this technique is it leaves you a bit dirty at the end.
The Torn Card pages 139-142 - Modern magic By Professor Hoffman - I believe this may be for a makeshift intersessor type of mechanism, not sure looks very interesting.
