Hello Pyro, I am glad that this site is going private as I have seen some excellent magic on youtube where the people stated your website was responsible for the efects however, they were mostly from young inexperience kids that owned a deck of cards and think that thats all there’s to it of being a magician and cannot keep their mouths shut just like the so-called piece of crap ‘The Masked magician” who is not a magician!! He is nothing more than a “wannabee” who just wants to know how the trick is done and make a buck from it exposing the secrets and wrecks it for the serious magician who makes a living from performing magic and alot of these young kids are just like him! When this site becomes Private; I will be glad to share some awesome magic of my own with the members and not charge one penny like alot of people do! Alot of people including some magicians use Magic as a vehicle to sell their ideas just to make a buck rather, than to enhance and promote the craft and the art of magic! I have performed magic off and on for 35 years and have much to offer to some selected people in magic who regard the craft with great respect and I have many ideas which will help and promote the new website when it becomes private. I have done a great research with hundreds of magic shops and can tell you where the best deals are and show many how to save alot of money while investing in their careers or just performing magic part time. I did not mean to use up alot of space but I think its time to get back to the basics before Magic becomes a dying art just because alot of people can’t keep their mouths shut just so they can impress people rather than to entertain. I couldn’t really say from a personal standpoint as I have never done any professional performances. Magic is more of a hobby of mine and I greatly admire those who have the drive to perform as a professional. We have recently had the pleasure of gaining a few professional magicians as new members. Perhaps the forums would be a good place to post this question. Things are still a bit slow there but hopefully they will pick up as we gain more members.

It was available for sale after march of 08′ for a limited time however it did not generate enough revenue to justify the cost for the e-commerce service I was using so I had to pull it off the shelve. However a few of the top site contributers received a free copy of the tutorial pdf.

Since the privatization of the site I have been considering re-releasing it to the private community however in doing so, the sole purpose would be to improve upon the trick from a community/discussion standpoint. In my past experience, people would just grab the freebie and run but since we are beginning to fine tune our user base, I would be open to a private re-release contingent upon community participation. I have to see how I feel about it once things start to settle in after all the new changes. I’ve also been thinking of creating and attempting to sell a small ebook containing Mars, Anomaly, The Gaff Guide, and what ever else I can come up with to help generate some income for the site.

I think the card trick above which is Anomaly Teaser video was on this site Feb 2008 and it stated; it was coming in March? I looked for the video in March 2008 archive and did not see anything concerning the cool card trick. Is this trick shared with members or do you have to pay for it? Herm

Ienjoyed the trip down memory lane with all the different styles of the Bicycle cards. Where do you find all this great stuff? Those cards of Life and Death are awesome and truly have the look of what kind of cards a magician would use and I am going to do some serious research on those cards as I would love to have a deck of those and I will inform you if I can make a “hit” on those!
